A series of 5 individually smashed pieces of man made board, each presented in a deep solid oak box frame with white laminate interior.
Produced by a single hammer blow to a sheet of 3 mm packaging plywood.
The destruction becomes the recorded instant.
The moment when material gives way to the force of the hammer and splinters, is time frozen.
Each ‘Fuck up’ was carried out using the same technique where the outcome is down to the nuances in board manufacture beyond the control of the artist
